The CS7000 ditched the typical hydraulic system and replaced it with electronically controlled power drives. This means lower maintenance and reduced noise when the machine is in use. Brushless AC drives power the steering and propulsion. The DC drives control the scrub and sweep functions. There IS a small hydraulic system that controls the hopper. More efficiency, same performance is what the CS7000 delivers.
